In a conversation with fans online this week, the model said: “I’m proud of every year; sometimes I feel like I’m taped together, but I believe aging is a privilege and not everyone can, so cherish every moment.”

The model’s approach to handling negativity isn’t just about speaking in support of older women; it’s about uplifting and inspiring other models and creators. She said: “Age should be celebrated as an asset, not criticized as a limitation. My advice is to embrace each season of life with joy, confidence, and grace.”

Elaina opened up about being a bold model in her fifties—and she says it’s not as easy as you might think.

In February 2021, Elaina worked 40 hours a week as an insurance broker, earning about $30,000 a year. She was a single parent and began worrying about money. She feared not having enough money to pay for college or retire.

At that time, the brunette stumbled upon articles where women were making thousands a month as content creators. Elaina thought the stories sounded “too good to be true,” but she imagined that if she made a tenth of what these women were making, it would change her and her child’s life.

By April 2021, Elaina had 10,000 followers on Instagram and about 60 subscribers on OF. In her third month as a content creator, she was earning $10,000 a month with videos and personalized photo packs.

However, despite the high salary, she says she spends a minimum of 30 hours a week using social media as her primary marketing tool. She also spends about 10 hours a week creating content, responding to messages from her followers, and researching how to optimize platforms for growth.

Despite all this, Elaina says she’s proud of her new full-time career.
